Service Description

Curious about pottery? This two-session beginner class is the perfect introduction to the pottery wheel. Designed for beginners, you’ll learn foundational wheel-throwing techniques in a relaxed, supportive environment. In the first class, we’ll cover the basics- centering clay, opening, and pulling walls to create simple forms like cups or bowls. We’ll take care of trimming and bisque firing between sessions, so when you return for the second class, your pieces will be ready to glaze. Finished work will be available for pickup from the studio within two weeks after the final class. No experience needed. Just come ready to get a little muddy and have fun!
